timorose
MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-25-2014 8:27 PMokay guys, first: sorry for my english...i'm a stupid german :p but let's talk about Godzilla 2014. what do we know so far?
Point 1: don't forget the sinkholes... do you remember the first RODAN movie? insects in MINES ! the initial threat was the MUTATED INSECTS in the mines. now watch the skeleton (Main Trailer) AND the shot where you can see a monster in the sky. Could be Rodan, right? And the skeleton defenitely isn't Godzilla...it's something else I think. But def not Godzilla. it's too "long" like a snake or "worm" or like "mutated insects" ...
Point 2: in 1954 Godzilla was still there ... WHAT or WHO woke him/ she/ it up? And WHERE was he/ she / it the last years? Disappeared? Hiding (but for what?)... Do the Muto-Organisation know where he/she/it is/was whole time? Do they hide Godzilla and if so, HOW? Island? Maybe G is territorial like other "animals" ? and what happened 15 years ago? and does it mean 1998 OR 1999? Godzilla 2014 was shot in 2012. So MAYBE it means "what happened in 1998" ... but maybe the movie plays in 2013 and that would mean "what happend in 1999" , right? If it is 1999 read this:

If it is 1998 read this:
http://web.utsandiego.com/news/2011/Oct/21/university-city-sinkhole-falls-into-rare-category/
I think there MUST be something under the ground - hiding... maybe some kind of worms or something else...and I don't mean the Mutos we expect. I think there must be something else. And I think we'll see more than two other monsters. Where do the BIG MUTOs come from? They are too big to hide 'em somewhere, right? You can't put it into a cage or somethin'...right? And how can you hide such a creature if you do? Grow they up somewhere, maybe on an island? Are they gettin' territorial now? What happened and why now? Experiments? Radiation/ Nuclear power? please let me know what you think guys. I guess we still have more info we already know but we can't see it yet
... thanks
GODZILLA HIMSELF
MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-26-2014 1:09 AMi dont know why everyone pays such little attention to the sinkholes, they are abviously very important to the plot! anyways, i think the sinkholes might lead to where godzilla and maybe some of the mutos come from, a hidden underground world. this could be a reference to the original movie because in that one the paleatologist, professor yamata, talks about deep pockets in the earth that contain unknown life, and theorizes that godzilla could have come from there.

MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-26-2014 1:50 AMThe images of sink holes released with the MUTO campaign might not actually be focused on in the film. It could be that they were just checking every sinkhole they could find as an exploration to see how far the infestation has spread around the world over the years.
