Debate week season 2 finale day 7: Godzilla 2014 vs SpaceGodzilla

Space Godzilla Would Win, he whas taken down by the spiral ray, And whe donot know how powerfoul Godzilla 2014 is, so he migth be able to take him down

From what we've seen so far, it seems like Space-Godzilla's various telekinetic abilities would be his turmp card against the mostly melee-oriented LegendaryGoji. However, up-close-and-personal, LegendaryGoji, if he manages to get in a good smackdown, could potentially render Space-Godzilla's varying abilities useless through sheer ferocity.

As seen with his battles agains the MUTOs, he's relentless in an all-out assault, as neither MUTO alone could defeat him one-on-one.As well, he's tactically aware of his surroundings, and knows when to take advantage of opportunities if he sees them. This would lend credence to the idea of LegendaryGoji taking SpaceGoji by surprise by acting quickly enough to subdue him in a melee brawl.

As well, LegendaryGoj, despite being 10 meters shorter, is actually larger in overall mass than SpaceGoji, so his physical girth would make his melee abilities even more ferocious. However, if SpaceGoji gets a grip on LegendaryGoji with his telekinetic abilities, there's not much LegendaryGoji could do except try to outlast the onslaught.

It's actually a bit of a toss-up. At range, SpaceGoji wins, but in close quarters, things actually lean more towards LegendaryGoji.

Well, Spacegodzilla would maul LegendaryGoji. However, Godzilla could win, as he's larger (in terms of weight) and smarter. If he could destroy Spacegodzilla's crystals, Godzilla would have the upper hand.

SpaceGodzilla wins. Spacegodzilla is one of the only monsters heisei Godzilla needed help during the fight with. Since Rodan fought Mechag before he got there and was laying on the ground almost dead when he arrived I don't count that as helping him. Moguera fought beside him through most of the fight. 

The fact heisei Godzilla who in his own right is probably just as strong if not stronger than legendary Godzilla couldn't 1v1 SpaaceGodzilla that's pretty grim for legendaryG. He's made from g cells so outside those crystals his body can heal remarkably well, he has an insane amount of range weapons at his disposal to keep legendaryG back and if he ever gets close Space Godzilla can just use his shield of fly away. Legendayg doesn't do well against a flying opponent who is much smaller than him and had to charge at him, how would he do against one that can simply fly around shooting his beam, and throwing him around with his telekinetic powers. If Spacegodzilla sets on a base like in Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla things get even worse for Legendary Godzilla as not only does he have to be spart enough to know what to attack with it being a building rather than a monster, but he also has to be able to do what heisei Godzilla couldn't and actually get it down. The Moguera had to separate and go in the air and under the ground while Godzilla fough Spaceg to take down the tower. That's 3 different things coming in literally every way possible to take down a tower. No way the new Godzilla could do it solo.

Besides Legendary goji is smarter, and the reason he couldn't beat the MUTOS whas because of the EMP so he is stronger than whe asume

Okay let me rephrase the line. Spacegodzilla is the only monster that required two monsters at the same time to beat. Mechag beat Rodan and then, when fighting godzilla solo it was pretty even till the plan devised by a human brain, much smarter than any monster could use, was put into action that he got the upper hand. SpaceGodzilla took on Godzilla and moguera at the same time and was still holding his own to winning throughout most of the battle, this is apparent as when he fought them both separately throughout the movies it was an extremely one sides fight both ways.

Smarter? Than what? He didn't seem that smart to me. The only thing he did was predict the mutos flight path(I've used the comparison of a dog predicting a ball landing somewhere to point out this isn't all that great) and in the process knocked the building over and onto himself. So what is he smarter than? Space Godzilla has shown borderline human thoughts, by the fact he actually came with a plan and an intention to take over. He's made from biollante which had a human soul so there's a chance that carried over into his intelligence, and the fact that when he fought he prioritized the building he was draining power from over himself since he had the g cells and could heal from the shots while the building could not. 

As for the whole EMP hindering his atomic breath, never referred to in the movie, and this would be a key point, so I don't see why they'd glaze over it if it was cannon, and the fact he used the atomic breath not once but twice on the female muto which unlike the male which apparently can only use the emp on command, the female apparently always has the emp field around her. I'm not very familiar with the whole electric sack theory, but an emp cancels out electical equipment through surging them so by that logic the electric sack, assuming since it's organic wouldn't exactly be effected by a surge and could arguably be made stronger by it.

It's not a theory, it was in the novelization. The electrical sack produces an electric current that is used to super-ionize gases into pure and super-concentrated plasma. The MUTOs' EMP attacks cut off the connection with the electrical charges. It's why the atomic plasma breath couldn't be utilized to its full potential against the female MUTO, because it was still imparied by the female MUTO's natural EMP field, though it wasn't completely cancelled out since she wasn't concentrating it in her forelimbs and slamming them into Godzilla and sending the concentrated EMP attack through him.

As I said the fact the movie never addresses that makes me doubt the cannon for it. Unless the mutos use a different emp than a normal one, the sack should get overcharged, which as I said should then empower it. 

EMPs can affect organic parts too, you know. The electrical sack likely doesn't work in the same way as the like sof electric eels and whatnot, and would be affected by the magnetic waves which are based around shorting out an electrical energy source. Also, why should the MUTOs have weaponized EMPs in the first place if they wouldn't need it against Godzilla? They certainly didn't evolve it just to disable technology.

ALso, the novel was co-developed alongside the movie. It's like with the official novelization of Pacific Rim.
