GMHHS Franken-Kiryu Part 1

The archeologists and scientist from Japan have been studying the giant stone tablet and the giant remains for months now, since they were discovered in the Bikini Atoll.  The tablet’s strange carvings were a language no one had ever seen before, with ominous symbols spread about it.  The remains of the giant creature intrigued them even more.  Each day the symbols glowed brighter, as the scientist got word of monster appearing throughout Japan, upon request from the military they had sent a piece of the table and a skin sample found at the excavation site.

Dr. Hirostein had been busy at work trying to perfect his machine.  He had been tasked with creating a new weapon to combat the monsters plaguing Japan for the past several months.  A robot which would have the power to fight and destroy all monsters, but every one of his attempts was a failure.  His first machine was a hovering assault ship with massive firepower, but it was blown out of the sky by the flying phantom of the sky (Ghost Rodan).  The second was a self functioning humanoid shaped robot with the ability to grow in size, but it was overcome by a the demon Ceasar, whose stone body was stronger than the robots steel.  Then, there was his third project, a massive kaiju-esque cyborg with large scythes for arms, a deadly buzzsaw in its chest for close encounters, and a large cyclopic eye that could fire a precise cutting laser, it even had the ability to fly at mach speeds.  The machine had a successful test run by seamlessly slicing through a large kaiju crustacean that was headed for the shores of Japan, but it had abandoned him, cutting its way free of its restraints and flying off into the night sky without a trace, while leaving behind buildings cut clean through like a hot samurai sword through soft flesh.  The military was losing patience with him and this was his last chance to produce results.

He was trying something different this time.  A more advance machine with stronger armor and armaments, and a more advance brain housing.  This one wouldn’t malfunction or disobey him like the others.  But again he had run into one obstacle.  The machine, its armor, its armaments were all so heavy, he couldn’t find a suitable base to support the structure.  There was no material in enough quantity or quality that could support the weight of the machine without collapsing.  He looked at the piece of stone tablet and skin sample given to him, questioning if he was asked to study them both.  Was it a joke or as a precursor to what his new assignment would be, to study pieces of skin and ancient rocks.  He wouldn’t hear of it!  Then, an idea was placed into his mind.  “Use the tablet to grow the flesh into bones strong enough to support your creation.”  He couldn’t tell where he had got such an idea from, was it a stroke of genius or insanity.  Either way, he got to work building large canisters and taking the samples of skin.  He placed them all into large glass chambers filled with growth protein and exposed them to the tablets energy.  “The tablet’s energy, how do I know anything about this!” he thought to himself.  But he kept working, not eating or sleeping as he watched the skin sample grow from large fleshy masses, until large strong bones developed.  He looked upon them and he could see their strength.  These would be strong enough to support his machine, w=though the shape wasn’t human he worked to re-assemble the machine parts so they fit.  He lifted the machine parts up, welded them together and assembled the weapons and circuitry.  He was done.  “Done…  I’m done…  I…  How long… Have I been… working?”  He said out loud.  He was hungry, tired and sore all over.  He looked at his watched and realized he had been working nonstop for almost 2 weeks.  He laid on the floor unable to move when another though came to him.

“Now all that is left is to power it, then… IT WILL BE…  ALIVE, ALLIIIVEEEE!!!!”, “wait… That wasn’t my though, none of this…”  He said to himself when out from the night sky came a large red lightning bolt.  It shot down from the dark sky like an unholy force had conjured it.  Then his machine started to move.  It slowly rose up like a giant and it towered over him.  The eyes of it were crimson red like the lightning itself as it released an ungodly mechanical roar.  As the machine burst through the lab walls walking away into the night, the doctor couldn’t help but wonder what unholy force had pushed him to create such a horrible mix of monster and machine? What was the voice that whispered in his mind the ideas that lead to this abomination?  What is out there in the dark of the night, with the power to push a man into madness against his will and yet fool him to believe it is his own?  And…  what did it have in store for his creation?

What will be the fate of this man-made mechanical monster, and who or what is pulling the strings behind the veil.  What is this creature that the scientists are studying in the Bikini Atoll, and what will happen next night?  Comment and stay tuned to find out!
