MemberMothra LarvaeJul-27-2015 7:49 PMI thought of this ever since that Superman vs Goku rematch where I was surprised that Supes won again because I thought they would try to shut the DBZ fans up but, nope. They said Superman has no limits but does Godzilla? I'm sure he doesn't because he's a force of nature and nature does not have limits but, I want your guy's (and girl's) thoughts!

ModeratorGiganJul-27-2015 8:33 PMOf course the King has limits it has been shown time-and-time again.
You could say Godzilla is in a way like Goku, as he breaks limits usually regarding the opponent he faces. Overall not to make an fact but Screwattacks Superman is retarded, it was cherry picking of his most powerful abillities and exaggeration.
Good grief.

MemberTitanosaurusJul-28-2015 4:45 AMTo be fair, it's mostly the writers' faults for making Superman so goddamn OP, even by DC standards. Plus, in a DEATH BATTLE, cherry picking is the name of the game, identifying the absolute best feats out of all the others, and making sure they take priority in such a debate.

MemberBaragonJul-28-2015 4:54 AMWe've pretty much seen that every Godzilla incarnation has limits off some kind.
Nothing wrong with having limits it makes your character more interesting to follow and root for. Being a superman of kaiju would be boring.

MemberGodzillaJul-28-2015 2:36 PMMONSTERMOVIEGUY - What a very interesting topic! Hmm...Does Godzilla have limits? That is a fine question. As a living organism, it is almost certain that Godzilla is limited on a biological level; there is a point to which each and every living thing can be physically pushed before reaching a breaking point. However, when it comes to his psychological aspects, I believe Godzilla is utterly unstoppable; he will continue onward until every last cell in his nervous system has completely and utterly ceased functioning. That, in my opinion, is what makes Godzilla limitless. The fire mankind placed within him at the moment of his creation will not allow hm to stop - even if he is being destroyed. All of that aside, this was a very neat topic to ponder! :)
