The first trailer for Godzilla: Singular Point has been released!

The upcoming anime series has officially debuted its first trailer. The trailer presents a brand new and unique direction that has never before been explored in the Godzilla franchise.

In addition to the new art style, the trailer grants fans the first look at a plethora of redesigned classic kaiju. Characters such as Rodan, Anguirus, Jet Jaguar, Gabara, and perhaps even Titanosaurus and Ebirah all make an appearance. And of course, we also get a couple of teasing glimpses at the Big G himself.

Godzilla: Singular Point is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in Japan during April 2021 and worldwide later in the year. You can check out images from the inaugural trailer below and view the anime's first poster here.

I love how diverse these designs are, yet still recognizable.  Gabara looks way more intimating and Titanosaurus looks more aquatic than ever. Definitely looking forward to this.

@KaijuWorld, I totally agree.

Don't love all the redesigns. Anguirus veers too close to the Heritage design, which I was never a fan of, Rodan is incredibly lazy. Titanosaurus may be too radical of a redesign for my liking, but at the same time I'm super interested in it and am reminding myself it worked well for King Ghidorah in The Planet Eater.

I love Jet Jaguar and I'm drawn to how weird Gabara looks as well. Regardless of the designs, the entire show looks absolutely fresh and interesting. I can't wait for this one!

Huge fan of that Titanosaurus and Gabara redesign, but I absolutely hate Rodan's.

I'm really interested to see how this turns out. I'm liking all of these new designs, save Rodan. They can do so much better than that. Regardless, though, this is some pretty cool animation and I like the use of the deep, smokey red throughout.

Just a quick thought on the reactions to Rodan's design, I think what we see in the trailer are Rodan's, just not THE Rodan. Based on the latter shots of the trailer, these Rodan's look to be way smaller in scale but larger in Numbers. So my theory is that these smaller Rodan's are an army of some sort for a more traditionally looking Rodan. Again, just a quick thought though.
