Deadline has reported that Charles Dance will be joining the cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. His role in the film is currently unknown as of yet. However, Deadline also confirmed that Sally Hawkins would be reprising her role of Dr. Vivienne Graham from the 2014 film.
As of now, Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe are the only actors returning from the first film. Little is known about the plot, although the return of Drs Serizawa and Graham do indicate that Monarch will have a large presence in the film.
Monarch may have more Kaiju then they can deal with in this film thanks to the post credits sequence of Kong: Skull Island. As a reminder, the Kaiju teased in this summer's blockbuster were Rodan, King Ghidorah and Mothra, truly giving Godzilla a chance to claim his crown as 'King of the Monsters'.
Dance will join the emerging cast of the film which already includes Millie Bobby Brown,O'Shea Jackson, Aisha Hinds, Anthony Ramos, Vera Farmiga, and Kyle Chandler in cast the film.Godzilla King: Monsters will release on Mar. 22, 2019. The film will be directed by Michael Dougherty, and written by Zach Shields. Stay tuned to Scified as more casting news breaks!
