Gareth Edwards Godzilla Interview: Seeing the New Godzilla for the First Time

When I saw Godzilla for the first time, I thought
It's like the 84 and 91 godzilla had a baby. Wonderful stuff! Excited for this whole production :)
Hearing about people even in the big boss levels who love Godzilla and just want to make the movie they've always wanted as fans gives me so much hope. This is a passion project, not just a quick cash grab and that's what we need more of

I had been a longtime fan thanks to my Dad showing me all the epically cheesy late 60's and early 70's Godzilla movies.  But then came Godzilla 1985..... WOW!!!  I remember clenching my popcorn soooo tight i think i killed it a few times over, then the ROAR...... (0.o)  

I have been a fan my whole life, my daughter is even getting into it as i introduce her to my collection.  This movie gives me hope for the King again, after that 98 blip on the radar, this movie truly looks to bring him back into the limelight, and I can’t help but to geek out a bit more with every released clip!!  

WAIT why does the UK FB page has so much more likes than the American one? even though this is an American film just askin.

I remember seeing Godzilla 1984 (1985) and being absolutley stunned! Upon seeing Edwards' rendition of the beast, I've been taken back to that feeling of wonder, fear, and excitement all over again! :)
