Godzilla 2014 Concept Artwork Reveals Deleted Scene! (Spoilers)

Kicking off Godzilla week, a selection of scans from the Godzilla: The Art of Destruction art book has been released online in the Godzilla movies forum. The scans reveal 11 new concept art pieces, one of which details a deleted scene which was cut from the final version of the movie. Because of this, we've tagged this article with a spoiler warning.

Godzilla is looking DOPE!!

The scene looked good...so I hope there is still some of it in the actual film...

This better not be the FINAL BATTLE, I hope its more epic!!!

Still waiting to see a glympse of that \"Atomic Roar\" which we will hopefully be seeing a lot in the movie!!

WOW!!!

Those look so awesome. If the movie scenes are even 25% as cool as what they put in those pictures, then I'd say we are pretty well set.

It's also kinda neat to see different/scrapped MUTO designs. I must say, I think I even kinda like the 'gorilla' looking version of the 8-legged Muto more than the design they went with. Not because the design is bad, but just because it looks so similar to the winged Muto. A little more distinction between the two designs would have been cool.

But all in all, awesome find :-) These look great!!!
