Legendary and Warner Brothers continue to tease Godzilla with new TV Spots. Today, yet another one was released online and features yet another, new shot of the King of the Monsters! The theme of this TV Spot is definitely more along the lines of emotional and sadness, as Bryan Cranston's character, Joe Brody, speaking of how they were evacuated so quickly when the MUTO escaped / Godzilla arrived, that he doesn't even have apicture of his wife - who unfortunately seems to meet her fate early on... Oh man...... my body was NOT ready for all of this! Luckily, I am a totally-not-an-immortal-kaiju-in-human-disguise person who deals with this like any other meatsack-- I mean human!

He looks pretty beast. He seems to only be flinching a bit.... and if anyone complains about that it's better then him dying from it.

By the time the movie is released - I hope they haven't shown the WHOLE movie in trailers!

I feel godzilla was moving a bit too fast on that last scene, doesnt seem all that realistic in my opinion. Looks more like 1998 crap...

Apr-03-2014 6:16 PM

Y'know AndyGod i got to agree with you. Something just seems funny about that shot. Seems to fast for a creature that size. Almost a choppy kind of effect. It just doesn't look right to me.

We finally see a better pic of godzilla but am I the only one who wants to see all of the mutos I am so anxious to see this movie

Apr-03-2014 7:07 PM

Well I for one PREFER a mobile Godzilla. I don't want some lumbering Heisei glacier.

That being said, the reason why the shot looks 'weird' or 'fast' is probably because two things are moving at the same time in the opposite direction.

Like Godzilla is moving left due to the missiles, while the camera is simultaneously moving on the bus which is heading right.

You know Gareth if you want this movie to be emotional like you wanted, STOP RELEASING THESE DAMN CLIPS!!!!!!!!!!!

Apr-04-2014 10:04 AM

That being said... my legs have gone numb. That last moment Bryan said "Whatever it takes" that then trasitioned in to a more clearer image of Godzilla is breathtaking!!

After seeing the missile/bridge scene, part of me thinks that this was Gareths big middle finger salute to the final scene from the 98 iguana movie. As if his Godzilla says "Hey, that tickles!"
