Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters Cast Updates & Promotional Statue!

The Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters (which is Toho's official English title) website announced more voice actors to the upcoming animated production! The cast continues to include all-star talent from various, popular anime. Crunchyroll provided visuals and information:

Daisuke Ono, best known to Western viewers as Erwin Smith from Attack on Titan, will play Col. Elliott Leland.

Kenta Miyake (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) plays an alien soldier from planet Belusard.

Kenyu Horiuchi (Bleach, One Piece) voices Italian General Unberto Mori, who captains the colony ship, Aratrum.

Kazuhiro Yamaji (Kamen Rider Den-O, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) brings the alien Endurph to life--A "cardinal of the Exif religious order."

Kazuya Nakai (Dragon Ball Super, Ghost in a Shell: Arise) plays another Belusardian military leader.

The site also announced a special "metallic" advanced ticket for Japanese audiences:

As Toho Animation and Polygon gear up for the November release of the film in Japan, a 2 meter tall Godzilla statue is being built for publicity. This is similar to the 2016 Godzilla statue that toured Japan during Shin Godzilla's promotional run. Thanks to Huge-Ben for directing us to color photos of the statue being teased:

Voice talents Daisuke Ono, Kenta Miyake, Kenyu Horiuchi, Kazuhiro Yamaji and Kazuya Nakai join Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters co-stars Mamoru Miyano (Mobile Suit Gundam 00), Takahiro Sakurai (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), Kana Hanazawa (.hack//Quantum) Yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan), Tomokazu Sugita (Attack on Titan) and Junichi Suwabe (Space Dandy). The film is directed by Kobun Shizuno  & Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia) from a screenplay by Gen Urobuchi (Kamen Rider Gaim). The film will hit Netflix world wide after its Japanese theatrical release, November 17th, 2017.
