Gormaru Island has once again pointed out a new cast member joining 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Deadline reports that Anthony Ramos, popular for originating the role of Philip Hamilton in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit Hamilton, will co-star in the Godzilla sequel.
Ramos will play Cpl. Mendoza, a collected young soldier whose bravery is said to not be "underestimated" in battle. He joins Millie Bobby-Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, O'Shea Jackson Jr, Aisha Hinds and the (seemingly confirmed) Ken Watanabe in Michael Dougherty's film.
What do you think of Godzilla's latest co-star?
