BREAKING: In a bizarre and unexpected twist, the official Godzilla: King of the Monsters art book has been released via Barnes and Noble and inside the book is a plethora of official concept art for Mike Dougherty's Godzilla sequel. Two concepts in particular have us very excited since they depict a very clear image of a Monsterverse Gigan, Kumonga and Gamera?! Well... maybe not Gamera since he isn't a Toho monster, but there is definitely a giant Turtle Titan which looks surprisingly a lot like Gamera. It could also be Kamoebas - a giant Turtle Kaiju who appeared in Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. Check out the following scans below:
Although not shown on screen, these are official works of art for Godzilla 2... which begs the question - will we see Gigan, Kumonga and Gamera in Godzilla vs. Kong?!
This is extremely exciting news (specifically Gigan). Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
