NECA will not be producing a King Ghidorah (2019) figure?!

Awwww. cmon Neca!

Based on information from people who drilled them with questions in person over it they don't seem confident that they can produce a Ghidorah figure for a price point that will be appealing not only to the mass consumer market but even kaiju fans.  I would have bought it no matter what but I was already assuming it would be $100 or more.  I'd already pre-ordered all their other figures from KOTM though so it just means I'll outsource to Monsterarts to finish off the set. 

It's disappointing but not too surprising, they're not particularly fond of doing niche lines and characters like Godzilla that go way too high in price if they can help it, the odds of making a good return on that becomes slimmer than with super popular characters from comics and American action films.

Hopefully they're just messing with us.

Well...I guess S.H Monsterarts is the only alternative.

Hopefully, it is a joke. I mean it happened before, and this might just be another case. But let's wait and see.
