Scified is back with another kaiju news recap article! Today, we will be recapping everything that has recently taken place within the fandom. We will resume our weekly kaiju news summaries starting with this coming week.

First off, Star Ace Toys unveiled a new Kong: Skull Island figure. The figure will stand at 20cm tall and will include a Mire Squid tentacle effect piece. You can now pre-order the 8" figure from Premium Bandai for $90 with a scheduled release date of February 2021.

A variety of new X-Plus Godzilla figures were recently revealed. The figures include Gigantic Series Burning Godzilla (2019), Large Monster Series Rodan (2019), DefoReal Godzilla (1984), and many others.

NECA Toys showcased new packaging and figure images for their Godzilla Biollante Bile and Hyper Maser Blast figures. Both figures are now starting to arrive at Target locations nationwide.

NECA Toys also released the final packaging images or their new King Kong figure. The figure depicts NECA's own interpretation of the iconic monster and is now starting to arrive at most locations where NECA products are sold.

Sony announced that they will be creating a brand new kaiju film. The new film will be based on the upcoming kaiju heist comic by AfterShock titled The Kaiju Score. A description of comic is given below.

"It’s the most dangerous heist ever attempted. Four desperate criminals are going all in on a once-in-a-lifetime chance to steal millions in art and turn their miserable lives around. The catch? They have to pull it off under the nose of a one thousand-ton kaiju. And a giant monster might just be the least of their problems"

Bandai released the first looks at a couple of crazy new figures. The new Movie Monster Series figures feature yet another Shin Godzilla and a unique new Metallic Mechagodzilla. Both figures are now available to purchase from the official Godzilla Store in Japan.

A new Bandai HGD+EX Biollante (Beast Form) figure has been revealed. The figure will feature a light emitting/flickering gimmick, include 4 tentacle effect parts, and will be over 11" long. You can now order the figure now from Premium Bandai for approximately $113 with a March 2021 release date.

Eureka Entertainment has unveiled a new The Masters of Cinema Series Mothra (1961) Limited Edition Blu-ray Box Set. The set will include both the Japanese and English versions of the iconic film and will come with numerous special features, such as a hardbound slipcase, reversible poster, audio commentaries, and a 60-page booklet.

The new set is a UK exclusive and will release on November 16th for £26.99 with pre-orders now available from Eureka Entertainment's website.

Lastly, a new extended version of the epic Godzilla vs. Kong banner has surfaced online. The artwork was created to be featured on packaging for the Playmates Toys fgure line for the upcoming film. The new version of the banner features extended artwork and a new center-placed logo.
