Official promo images for the newly revealed S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2001) Radiant Heat Ray Version figure have been released. Unfortunately, it appears that the figure will not come with any breath effect piece. While this may be a turn-off for many collectors, any other S.H.MonsterArts breath effect will be usable with the figure at least.
Japanese pre-orders for the figure will begin on July 10th (presumably in JST). You can purchase the figure for approximately $92 with an anticipated release date of November 2020.
Currently, there is no word on if the figure will receive an official US release or not. If you live in the US and wish to obtain the figure for the best price, then your best choice may be to wait for an official announcement regarding a US release.
You can view the official description and images for the figure below.
S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2001) now available as a radiant Heat Ray variant! The coloring matches what’s seen on screen, reproduced by Mr. Yuji Sakai's hand, when the dorsal fins illuminate just before emitting radiant heat rays. This includes the moment when the mouth emits light! In order to reproduce the image of radiant heat rays, the entire body is darkened, just like in the night time scenes from the movie, and the colors resemble an luminescent feeling and becomes more prominent with blues and whites.
