Now Godzilla,s When i saw Godzilla,s backplates in the leaked teaser it was kinda small and the trailer showed the same spines so is it possible that Godzilla,s back spines will be the same size of the 2014 Godzilla Now the 2000 Godzilla had huge back plates and even final wars GMK and tokyo. Now i no Edward said he,s going too follow or kinda follow the same path that the 1954 Godzilla did. so it,s possible that Edwards wants too make Godzilla,s back plates a little smaller like the 1954 Godzilla had here,s an Example.

Now as you see The 1954 Backplates was small then the other Godzilla,s now for the 2014 Godzilla

Now you see that the new Godzilla has the same size as the 1954 did or close to the 1954

so My guess is that the new Godzilla will have short backplates but maybe the blackplates might change in a squeal but what you do you think? do you think that the new Godzilla,s backplates are small?

The trailer gives us a good idea of what his back spikes will look like.

I'd say they are perfect sized plates. :) I also like the overall design of them too.

well i do like the plates but there,s one twist there,s no back plates on the sides. so i guess Godzilla only has one row of plates i guess?

The answer to all of this is in the trailer itself. He's got three rows of spines. Go to the end where Godzilla is rotating and roars.

a Duratok the prototype Godzilla,s only had one row of back plates but not alot of plates on the sides so the new Godzilla will have lots of plates in a straight line but not on the sides

Where are you getting that information? In the trailer it very clearly shows three rows of spines. Which prototype are you refering to?

Regardless, a prototype means it's not the finished product. I will take the trailer as a proof of fact over a prototype model any day.

Look if you look at the 2014 poster i posted you can see that Godzilla has a little bit of plates on his sides.

and the prototypes i was talking about was the Godzilla encounter Prototype desgins

In my opinion they are good if they are small size. Godzilla shall be expected as a giant mutated dinosaur creature with the backfinns as a lil detail on his back and not just 50% lizard 50% spines like mire-goji

i think godzilla spines should be not to big like godzilla 2000 and not to small like godzilla jr but somewere in the middle. the godzilla 1954 spines are perfect.

My favorite thing about the new back plates on G-2014 is the fact that they look VERY mangled and imperfect. The symmetry of the 80's-90's Godzilla looked cool, but it lacked that original "warped" and "natural" feel that the '54 Godzilla's did.

I personally think they look great, and I'm VERY hard to please as a hardcore G-fan.
