MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2014 2:38 PMI was browsing around for new Godzilla stuff, and found http://graphics.latimes.com/towergraphic-guide-spider-man-godzilla-summer/ that had this pic (below)

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2014 6:42 PMReally hope the CGI is as good as this image shows. Not long to go now.
OG Godzilla
MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2014 8:01 PMHis body is in the water, I'm pretty sure that's why he doesn't seem as big. Maybe he's in the deep end.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2014 8:06 PMIf this is legit, Godzilla looks beautiful.

MemberBaragonApr-25-2014 9:08 PMThis has a legit "feel" to it. But of course, its better to confirm it first.
So is it legit?

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-26-2014 5:00 AMI don't think Godzilla will shrink in the movie, because Gareth Edwards is proud to have the biggest Godzilla so far in his movie (he mentioned that in nearly every interview).
That theory would fit in an older TOHO Godzilla movie, but as Godzilla 2014 takes place in a more realistic setting, it doen't fit to me that he shrinks at any reason if he is a biologic lifeform with bones and meat.
But everything is possible, let's get surprised.
Codzilla
MemberMothra LarvaeApr-26-2014 2:00 PMStill not entirely convinced those are "gills". Many other Godzilla suits and designs have had slits on their neck just like this one, and those weren't gills. Yes, he is largely aquatic. But there were several aquatic dinosaurs that didn't have gills. Either way, I'm happy with this new Godzilla.
