Godzilla Wars Reborn

One

     It’s been fifteen years since Godzilla and his allies defeated the human/Xilien alliance. However, it’s also been fifteen years of advances in human technology, fifteen years to prepare for a potential attack on Godzilla’s home to finally destroy him…

     Godzilla, now growing older, wakes up from his nest in the center of his island home, a large crater formed long ago. His adopted son, Godzilla Junior, approaches him. Godzilla Junior has grown a lot since the time of war, and now looks like a smaller version of his father, except with more pointed dorsal spines, slightly brighter skin, and less faded scars along his body from past battles. The walk towards the shore, seeing Anguirus and Rodan already there. They watch as Manda hobbles out of the water. He had been watching the mainland for a few days now, and came back with lots of information about human civilization.

     Godzilla remembered what happened the last time humanity had created advanced weaponry. They had attacked him and his allies, killing a few of them. He bellowed to Anguirus and Rodan, and they followed him on a journey to eventually reach and attack the biggest and most advanced areas. However, Titanosaurus and Manda began to force Anguirus and Godzilla back to the shore as Mothra pulled Rodan back. Godzilla and Anguirus began to bite and scratch Titanosaurus and Manda, as Rodan attempted to squirm out of Mothtra’s grip.

    Eventually, the three freed themselves, but went back to the shore, where they faced Mothra, Titanosaurus, and Manda. Battra, Godzilla Junior, and all of the Kamacuras joined Godzilla, while King Caesar, Zilla, and Kumonga joined Mothra. The battle had officially begun.

     As the monsters prepared for some sort of civil war, a bigger, deadlier threat is rapidly approaching Earth

Two:

The monsters stare at each other, each side waiting for the other to make the first move. After a couple minutes, Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath at the opposing side, injuring Mothra, Zilla, and Kumonga before King Caesar fires it back at him. Wincing in pain, Godzilla steps back before Zilla leaps at him. The King of the Monsters whips Zilla to the side with his tail, causing him to fall into the trees. Anguirus heads towards Zilla, but Baragon jumps on him. As the two fight, Gorosaurus and Titanosaurus attack Godzilla.

     The two monsters bite and scratch Godzilla, who attempts to hold them off with his tail and Atomic Breath. When they get too close, he kicks them away before Kumonga jumps on his back. The Kamacuras pack attack Kumonga as Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath at Titanosaurus and Gorosaurus after they land some hits on him. The heat drives the weakened Kumonga off, but the Kamacuras back still attack him.

     As Rodan and Godzilla Junior fight off Manda and King Caesar, Battra fires his Prism Beam at his twin, Mothra. However, Mothra dodges the attack and grabs her brother with her claws. She drives him into a mountain and bites the back of his head. Two of the Kamacuras hear Battra and rush over to help. They attack Mothra, distracting her and giving Battra time to escape. Battra fires his Prism Beam again, this time hitting Mothra.

     Manda begins to wrap around Godzilla Junior like a snake as King Caesar fends off Rodan. Godzilla Junior roars for his father, who is still busy fighting Gorosaurus and Titanosaurus. The two are slowly gaining the upper hand as Godzilla gets more and more tired. However, when Godzilla hears his son, he whips Gorosaurus and Titanosaurus away with his tail and goes to help his son.

     When Godzilla reaches Manda and Godzilla Junior, he grabs Manda right behind his head. Just as Godzilla is about to kill Manda in one move, a gigantic spaceship appears in the sky. All the monsters stop fighting and look at it. Suddenly, a bright beam appears from it. A new battle has begun...

Three

     A small blob of pollution with two big red eyes flies out of the green beam, followed by a giant lobster. Godzilla had experience with fighting Ebirah, but not Hedorah. The Smog Monster fires lasers from its eyes at Godzilla, but they don’t do much effect. He fires his Atomic Breath at it as Anguirus charges Ebirah.

   The giant lobster snaps his pinchers at Anguirus, but misses. Anguirus attempts to bite and scratch Ebirah’s back, but his armor prevents most wounds. Eventually, Rodan lands on Ebirah’s back, pecking at the tough armor. While they attempt to break it, Hedorah fires its eye beams at Rodan, distracting him and getting Anguirus’s attention. This gives Ebirah time to pinch Anguirus, grabbing his front legs.

     Godzilla winces as Hedorah fires more toxic sludge at him. Battra fires his Prism Beams, but they don’t affect Hedorah. Eventually, Hedorah turns from his flying form to a walking pile of pollution. Firing its eye beams again, it forces Godzilla back. Hedorah fires more chunks from his body, burning Godzilla’s skin. Eventually, Godzilla catches one. Wincing as it slowly burns the skin off his hands, he throws it at one of Hedorah’s eyes. Stumbling back, Hedorah loses sight in one eye. Weakened, his attacks become shorter and weaker. Eventually, Godzilla catches the small chunks and throws them back, some of them hitting Hedorah’s good eye.

     Meanwhile, Mothra attempts to pull Ebirah away from Anguirus. Rodan helps, but the two can’t separate Ebirah from Anguirus. Eventually, the ground shakes from beneath them. Baragon appears from under Ebirah, his horn piercing through Ebirah’s underside. Screeching in pain, Ebirah lets go of Anguirus, who hits the lobster’s underside with his spiked shell. The monsters finish off Ebirah as Godzilla gains the upper hand on Hedorah.

     Now completely blind, Hedorah is slowly weakened from the gusts generated by Battra’s wings. Noticing this, Battra calls to Mothra and Rodan. The three of them, along with the Kamacuras, generate a wind that dries Hedorah. Dehydrated, the Smog Monster crumbles apart.

     As the spaceship reappears, Godzilla and the other monsters realize that they will have to work together to win the new battle. However, none of them are aware of the much larger threat lurking outside Monster Island, making its way to the mainland…

Four:

     The hybrid monster swims just outside the fog surrounding Monster Island. Killing everything in its path with the high concentration of radiation, the creature speeds towards the nearest area- the Philippines.

     The next monster steps into the island’s grassland center- Orga. The monster roars at Godzilla and his allies, challenging them. Godzilla charges Orga, followed by Anguirus and Rodan. As he attempts to fire the laser cannon on his shoulder, Battra lands on Orga, using his Electric Grab to shock him. As Orga shakes Battra off, Anguirus and Rodan attack at the same time, with Rodan attacking Orga’s back and Anguirus attacking the arms and legs. Orga shakes off Rodan and fires his laser cannon at Anguirus as Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath.

   Distracted, Orga charges Godzilla. Knowing Orga lacks skill in hand-to-hand combat, fires his Atomic Breath to weaken Orga before slashing him in the face. As Godzilla kicks Orga back, Anguirus, rolled up into a ball, hits Orga, stabbing him with dozens of small spikes. This gives Godzilla enough time to whip Orga with his tail, snapping Orga’s leg like a twig. Orga falls over before being attacked by Anguirus.

                           * * * * *

     With one major city already destroyed and an even larger area of land uninhabitable, a squadron of fighter jets shoots at the hybrid, attempting to weaken it, but mainly to distract it until a second squadron can show up, and if the plan works, lead the King of the Monsters and maybe a couple of his allies to the fight…

                           * * * * *

     Anguirus moves aside as Godzilla grabs Orga by the neck. Pulling him up, Godzilla charges up his Atomic Breath as Battra, Mothra, and Rodan attack Orga’s back, preventing him from firing his cannon. Godzilla forces open Orga’s mouth and fires a long, powerful blast of his Atomic Breath down the alien’s throat, killing him.

     Suddenly, three fighter jets break through the fog, lightly shooting at Godzilla before retreating. They circle around, waiting for Godzilla to follow. Godzilla, along with Anguirus, Rodan, Mothra, and Battra, follow them, ready for a possible fight.

Four

     The beast is larger than anything Godzilla had fought before. It towers above him, looking down in the monsters with a head that resembles that of Destoroyah’s, except the head ends in jaws similar to that of the MUTOs, and has a small horn on top. The neck is a little longer than a normal kaiju, and the shoulders have spikes on top of them. The arms are long and muscular, with spiked elbows and hands with sharp claws. Behind the arms are smaller arms that end in hook-like appendages. On the monster’s back is a spiky carapace like Anguirus, and the long tail ends with a pincher. It roars at the monsters and fires a red Atomic Breath-like beam.

     Godzilla winces in pain as the beam hits him. Battra fires his Prism Beam at it, but it fires red, lightning-like beams out of its horn at him. He flies away, looking for a better spot to attack. As the monster looks around for Battra, Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath at it. However, the creature just gets angrier, and charges him. It slashes him and almost fires lightning out of its horn, but Anguirus, rolled into a spiky ball, hits it. The creature simply forces Godzilla to the ground and kicks Anguirus away. It seems to have an inability to feel pain.

     Mothra flies at the creature, taking it by surprise. She scratches and bites its neck before it slams the back of it neck against a large building. Disorientated, Mothra attempts to regain her strength as the monster grabs her from the rubble. It bites her and tears her wings before slamming her on the ground. As it is about to finish her off, Battra grabs the monster’s tail and uses his Electric Grab to shock it. Realizing it won’t do much, he flies off. However, it fires its Atomic Breath-like beam at Battra, causing him to fall to the ground.

     Anguirus sees the creature’s tail and begins to attack. He bites it and shakes it around like a dog playing with a toy. However, the creature pulls its tail free and closes the pinchers around one of Anguirus’s front legs. It shocks him, disorientating the creature. As it prepares to attack again, Rodan flies at its neck, pecking and slashing at it. Godzilla, fearing for Rodan’s safety, whips the beast with his tail, fracturing its left leg. It growls at him and shocks him the same way he shocked Anguirus, except it was weaker. Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath, but the creature ducks, and part of the beam hits Rodan.

     The monster shakes off Rodan fires its Atomic Breath-like beam. Godzilla roars a challenge at the monster. Now, it’s up to him to save his allies and the planet.

Five

     With Mothra dead and Battra, Anguirus, and Rodan wounded, Godzilla has to defeat the monster himself. Both monsters are tired and injured, but Godzilla notices the hybrid’s wounds appear to be healing at a fast pace. With an inability to feel pain and rapid regeneration, the creature could be unstoppable.

   The two circle each other, roaring challenges and trying to find a place to attack. A few missile strikes fired by the military give Godzilla enough time to charge his Atomic Breath and fire it at the creature’s neck. It growls at him and fires back. Wincing, Godzilla watches as the creature approaches him. Godzilla’s height only reaches the creature’s chest, but Godzilla sees an opportunity to attack.

     The King of the Monsters bites onto one of the creature’s small, hook-like appendages behind the main arms and pulls it off. As he begins to punch and slash monster, it bites Godzilla in the neck. It slams him on the ground, crushing a few small buildings. It presses its foot against Godzilla and fires red lighting from its horn. Godzilla charges his Atomic Breath and fires at the horn, eventually breaking it off.

     Distracted, the creature doesn’t pay attention to Godzilla. However, as Godzilla gets up, the creatures grabs on to his tail with its pincher and lightly shocks Godzilla. Suddenly, Rodan flies in and distracts the creature as Godzilla grabs the fallen horn. The hybrid monster fires its red Atomic Breath at Rodan just as Godzilla stabs it with the horn. He pulls it out and stabs the creature again. However, the area doesn’t heal. Godzilla realizes that if something’s in the way, the wound can’t heal.

     As the creature bites and slashes Godzilla, the King of the Monsters begins to pick up sharp pieces of rubble and jabs them into the creature. Eventually, he the horn out as the creature bites his neck. Godzilla jabs it into the hybrid’s eye, making it half blind. It winces and attempts to pull the piece out as Godzilla slashes the creature. However, it fires its red Atomic Breath and kicks him back. Then, it pushes Godzilla to the ground, and locks the pincher around his neck.

     Godzilla eventually pulls it off and holds it back as he fires a blast of his Atomic Breath at the creature’s head. It retaliates by firing its red lightning beam from a reformed horn and its red Atomic Breath at the same time. It also gets the pincher back around Godzilla’s neck.

   Knowing his end is near, Godzilla channels all of the energy he has left into his nuclear-powered abilities. He fires a very long and powerful blast of his Atomic Breath at the creature, taking off an arm and severely burning the head and neck. Roaring in agony, he channels whatever energy he has left into his Nuclear Pulse, the blast powerful enough to kill the creature. The last thing Godzilla sees as his vision fades is the creature’s body falling to the ground as pieces of it rain down…

     Battra, Anguirus, and Rodan get up, powered again by the blast. They look around the decimated city and notice the three monster bodies on the ground- Mothra, what remains of the hybrid monster and the King of the Monsters himself. They go to help Godzilla, but he doesn’t get up. Godzilla, the King of the Monsters, had died.

     The three return to Monster Island. The other monsters soon realize what happened. Though they had won the latest battle, they had lost their king.
