GHIDOGOJI (1991) vs. DESUGOJI (1995)
For those not counting the obvious difference with DesuGoji, there are plenty of subtle, yet notable differences in design between both. The GhidoGoji is a modified BioGoji (1989) suit, while the DesuGoji is a [hevaily] modified MogeGoji (1994).
The GhidoGoji features much larger and more pronounced pectorals. The shoulders are positioned higher on the body and the profile is slimmer. The head is much taller, giving it a triangular look from the front. The brow is lower, making its eyes look smaller.
The DesuGoji features flatter pectorals and shoulders that are positioned lower on the body, yet broader. The torso is much rounder and the profile of the suit is significantly broader, giving it a slightly hunched over look. The neck is ribbed and the brows are a little higher making the eyes look larger. The head is overall flatter. Transparent vinyl replaced the chest, shoulders, torso and legs and over two hundred tiny, orange lightbulbs were placed under them. The eyes and spines were also modified to glow red as well.
Unlike the suits prior to 1994, the DesuGoji is one of the few suits in the series able to turn its head from side-to-side as well as up and down while roaring. The GhidoGoji had no feature that could make its head swivel in any way.
