I am hoping for Godzilla to win.

Not just because I want him to (which I do), but also because Kong has already had won in the original. For them to give us the same result again would not be very popular among fans (especially seeing as this version of Godzilla seems to have the 'high ground' over Kong).

still waiting for a good modern kaiju game. *sigh*

Isn't it obvious who will win?

Kong has only taken out a few Kaiju in his rule, but Godzilla has probably taken out HUNDREDS. Kong's the ruler of skull island, but Godzilla is the ruler of the WORLD! plus, kong is HIGHLY vulnerable to Atomic Breath attacks, which Godzilla will probably use very often.

I doubt Godzilla’s going to use his atomic breath “often” he doesn’t really seem to rely on it as much as other incarnations.

Sadly, Godzilla's creators showed him very poorly in the previous film
Godzilla has fallen a few times against motos and against the tanks and planes that attacked him, he was like a defenseless rat! which made me angry!
But in my opinion, the real Goodzilla (which we will see in Godzilla: King of the Monsters) is much more powerful than Kong.
Of course, I am also a Goodzilla fan

What the heck are you talking about? The tanks, ships and other army weaponsfire that attacked Godzilla in the movie did nothing to him except cause irritation. the mutos brought him down because there were two of them simultaneously ganging up on him. Being outnumbered is a disadvantage whether you’re Godzilla or not. I hardly consider that “poorly represented”

Godzilla, who is supposed to defeat King Ghidorah, should not fall off easily, even against two mutos!

you said:
"The tanks, ships and other army weaponsfire that attacked Godzilla in the movie did nothing to him except cause irritation"

How can they affect mutos but do not affect Godzilla?! At the scene of the Godzilla conflict along the bridge, the tanks attack Goodzilla and he runs away. If the tanks does not affect him, why did he escape from the place?

It doesn’t matter what title you’re given by humans such as”king of the monsters”, it doesn’t mean you won’t face challenges what matters is you overcome them in the end . He didn’t fall of “easily” they’re natural enemies who’ve been fighting his species for millions of years. They took advantage of their numbers and tackled him down.

In a one on one confrontation neither entity could beat Godzilla on their own ultimately but when they worked as a group they gained the upper hand. I don’t know why you’re acting like Godzilla facing Ghidorah is somehow going to be a walk in the park for him which subsequently means the mutos shouldn’t have been able to knock him over. In fact I fully expect Godzilla to get his ass kicked hard the first time around. The female used her weight (keeping in mind she weighs nearly as much as he does) to knock him over. long story short he got body slammed by a creature close to his size. You underestimate how strong these individual Kaiju are.

the tanks and missiles didnt “effect” the mutos did we watch the same movie? Because I’m not trying to be rude but I get the feeling you weren’t paying attention at all. When I say the monsters weren’t “affected” by them I mean they suffered no injuries whatsoever the weaponsfire were only a nuisance similar to someone throwing a firecracker at your feet  or tossing pebbles at you. They know they’re being shot at , it’s irritating and they don’t like it but it doesn’t mean they’re being significantly injured. the mutos were not harmed by any weapons the humans launched at them. Not missiles not bullets you can literally see them being shot with them repeatedly with no damage whatsoever especially the female walking through Nevada.

Godzilla didn’t “escape” from the military firing at him out of fear , the tank rounds they launched were simply an annoyance that he wished to get past at the bridge. Hes a living being who can feel sensation he knows he’s being pelted with projectiles , he doesn’t like it but they simply don’t pose a significant threat of any kind. He avoids unnecessary conflict , his primary target is the mutos who are a direct threat to his species he has no reason to waste his time retaliating against tiny mammals shooting him when the task at hand takes far more precedent. At no point during the San Francisco bridge encounter foes he retaliate against the humans. The fact you’re somehow under the impression that the missiles and tanks did significant harm to Godzilla even when it’s been demonstrated that he’s tanked castle bravo at ground zero is a bit strange.

On Godzilla's atomic breath the electromagnetic field produced from the female muto significantly reduced Godzilla's atomic powers. in the novelisation it is explained this is a defense mechanism the Muto's developed as a result of atomic capabilities of Godzilla and his species. futhermore depending ob whether or not you take the awakening prequel comic as canon or not godzilla has only been roaming Earth outside of hibernation for 69-60 years up until 2014 and i don't believe godzilla was seen raiding any stockpiles of radioactive energy suggesting he hadn't produced much nuclear energy. because of this it can easily be mistaken that godzilla wasn't giving it his full and that's because he wasn't able to because thousands of years of hibernation and parasitoid kaiju with abilities able to nullify godzilla's

On the Golden Gate Bridge scene the military did hurt Godzilla not significantly but you can see he clearly get's shot in the gills which would be a weak spot for him (this is true for other animals with gills), the Muto's even exploit this. Him being shot in the gills causes his to recoil and inevitably smash into the bridge.

I would like to think that Godzilla would win. I just can't see him losing to kong but I can see kong giving Godzilla one of the toughest fights he has every had. either way this film already has my money.
