Why Monsterverse/Pacific Rim crossover should NOT happen

Seeing Godzilla and Kong fighting mechs would be cool but I think Monstervese and Pacificverse should be two separated universes. They just work better as two separated franchises and connecting them would completely ruin them all. If it would be a small retcon, it wouldn't be a problem, but we saw the evidences that it's not the same world.

A PR and Monsterverse crossover would be pretty cool, but would not work

It definitely wouldn't work. If that was the case, the precursors would never have tried to colonize Earth the first time (or any time after that) because of the presence of the ancient kaiju and King Ghidorah.

Jaegers are cool but yeah, the only mechas should be Mechagodzilla and MechaniKong, leave the Jaegers in their own universe
