Why Godzilla Should Win In Godzilla vs Kong (Top 4) (My Opinion)

(All these Reasons are Based on my Opinion)

1. He Already Lost In 1962, He should balance the scales again by beating Kong. Both of these Titans would be Even in wins and loses, then they would be fine. if Godzilla lost again, Godzilla Fans would want Another Rematch.

2. He Is More Powerful Overall, both these beasts showed incredible feats of strength and Durability, but Godzilla Survived far worse than Kong. Falling from the Atmosphere and Survived the Oxygen Destroyer that was Specifically Designed to Kill everything within a 2-3 Mile Radius! Kong on the other hand got cut by helicopter Blades. but he should have tougher skin and fur in the future with his Growth. Godzilla has a Weapon that Kong Couldn't Dream or too. His Atomic Breath, a weapon that was able to push back Ghidorah in KOTM, Kong is basically not a Fan of Fire, Napalm Managed to burn Kong, Godzilla could Catch Kong on Fire if he Strikes with Enough Force.

3. He Is More Popular, Godzilla these days is no doubt the Most Popular Kaiju/Titan in the World so Far. In 1962, Toho gave King Kong the Win because he was more Popular in Japan at that Time, and Godzilla was Still a 'Villian' at that Time. Godzillas Popularity could cause the Writers to give Godzilla the Win.

4. Story Wise, It wouldn't make Sense if Kong Won, Think about it, Godzilla Saved the Earth 2 Times already. While Kong only saved a Group of Humans. Godzilla Beat a Giant 3 Headed Golden Dragon, Just to get Beat by a Giant Gorilla. It just Doesn't make Sense In My Opinion.

Interesting.

I just hope he doesn't KILL Kong.

The days are leading up to Smashmas, my friends!

I agree with you.Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah, while all Kong stoped was som Skullcrawlers and V-rex's,which Godzilla could easily beat.

I totally agree with this list and I really hope Godzilla wins, but I am afraid Legendary will try to "subvert expectations" by making Kong win (again).

On the other hand, I am okay if Kong wins 1 or 2 rounds, but Godzilla wins the deciding round at the end.

Godzilla: King of the monsters is one of the best cinema experiences I have had in quite a while.

Yeah, Godzilla should win this fight(big Godzilla fan). But I’m a little worried. If you watched Dangervilles video about how Kong could BEAT Godzilla. He says how Hollywood isn’t thinking about renewing Godzillas contract from Japan. So they might just end Godzilla in this movie and have Kong lead the franchise. I really hope Godzilla wins :D

They confirmed that neither is going to die, so I think Godzilla will LIVE, albeit he may just sleep for the rest of eternity if they decide to not renew the contract. If they do, then more Godzilla for the rest of us! I agree Kong should lose for the reasons above, but Dougherty said that it'll be an underdog battle... so I'm a little worried for Godzilla.

1.Well,they might confirm he lost, but he might just swim below the surface, and he sleeps in the ocean,so how did he lose?

2.He might be more powerful, but Kong may have learned new things, because Kong:Skull Island happened before Godzilla and KoTM.

3.The biggest problem with the internet, being more Popular does not mean you are stronger.

4.Who gives a dang if Godzilla saved the planet 2 times? And as is said:

"Kong:Skull Island happened before Godzilla and KoTM"

And maybe Kong developed in the period of time. And it would make sense if Kong won.

That is your opinion and i respect it.

I was trying to Defend Kong, because i even noticed people care only about Godzilla.

Ganimes V.8.

Sure it was "unclear" but it's been confirmed that Kong won so...

Godzilla probably has MILLIONS of years of experience, and with much bigger threats than Kong (he beat Ghidorah. TWICE.). He's at least been around since ancient civilizations, and seeing as how Kong was about half the size in Skull Island that he probably will be in GVK, he's pretty young in comparison to Godzilla. He definitely has no experience with creatures as strong as Ghidorah or Godzilla, or anything with a similar abilities.

3. No it doesn't, but that would make more sense if the movie wanted better reviews. Besides, GODZILLA ACTUALLY IS STRONGER. Kong barely survived some minor explosions. Godzilla survived being dropped from ABOVE CLOUD LEVEL and the oxygen destroyer, something that killed every other creature within a 3-mile radius.

4. Godzilla fought much more powerful creatures that were capable of destroying the world, much more powerful than even the alpha skull crawler. So far, it seems like Godzilla has had much more impressive feats of strength than Kong.

It's not that we don't care about Kong, it's just that a lot of us like Godzilla more or that we think it'd make more sense to Godzilla to beat Kong, based on Godzilla's superior feats of strength and incredible abilities.

If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

I mean, technically Godzilla died from the oxygen destroyer.

1.Ok,Kong won,

2.I meant that he might learn some new things, not that he faced better foes nor that he is stronger

3.I said that

4.Same thing with 2.

@James Inkton

Those were all very valid points. Hopefully, they follow through with them in 2020. Otherwise, I will lose all hope in the Monsterverse. (And I do not want that to happen,  just like it did with Jurassic Park/Jurassic World.)

I’m just saying... the first thing I ever watched in my life was the original 1953 Gojira film. Its not I dont like Kong I just dedicate my life to Godzilla and hope he lives on in the franchise :D
