Their were already Toho/Daiei kaiju referenced, and they alluded to entering the Rift at the end of Uprising, having them make a wrong turn due to interdimensional complications and land in the MonsterVerse would take very little explaining. Plus, in my opinion, it would be the only semi-non-ridiculous way to have Jet Jaguar show up in the MV, which would just be the best thing ever. :P
