MST3K heckles scifi movies and no movie is off limits. Here is a summary of them heckling a Godzilla movie. Sometimes it is fun to see the wind taken out of the sacred cows and just have fun.

Never particularly liked MST3K to begin with. Tried to laugh along with this, but couldn't make it through it. Personally, I'm glad Toho barred the MST3K Godzilla episodes from being released officially.

Not to mention Sea Monster doesn't particularly deserve it. Megalon did, but I could get through that one either.

No joke, I thought this was going to be some big philosophical discussion about how there's no one way to enjoy Godzilla and how the cultural analysis and worldbuilding and excitedly watching the battles are all equally valid.

Then I actually got here, and it's just a MST3K thread.

I personally don't mind 'em, and I won't deny that they make me crack a smile at their best. Their riff on Gamera vs. Zigra was how I actually watched the movie.

A true fan can acknowledge the bad while still appreciating and cherishing the good.
