How Strong Will Godzilla Ultima Be?

MemberGiganMay-24-2021 8:58 AMWith GvK over and the approaching new Anime, Godzilla Singular Point, coming out on June 24th, a question has come in my mind. Godzilla Ultima, the show’s godzilla, we don’t really know anything this form.
So how strong will it be? Compared to other godzilla’s? What do you think?

Im not very convinced of that, It didn’t die. As for proof of that we see a shot of it as giant and in an urban area.

After all, the Diagonalizer experiment was a failure.

SPOILERS:
We'll see. The thing is Godzilla has ready been established as the creature of the end of times, so I don't really see Salunga playing a big part either way.
I think Salunga has a part to play, but it’s not really based on much information. I don’t really agree with the theory, but If it has any grounds, I would expect the good and evil roles to be reversed. Plus I don’t think many fans would be happy if the build up didn’t pay off in a godzilla fight.
Another note about this show. It seems like it’s ripped right out of the showa era and I love it.

SarcasticGoji,
I don't think we're going to see Godzilla fight any monsters. It's just not what this series has been building toward. The other monsters seems to be directly caused by him in some way as a harbinger of his arrival--building up little at a time--Including Salunga. I think it will come down to how humanity stops Godzilla.
Your probably right, I just think the other kaiju have more of a part to play than just showing up. And I don’t know if it’s been revealed why in the show, but Anguirus doesn’t emit the red dust, which signifies its seperate from the rest of the kaiju I think

I mean it’s confirmed height is 45 meters, meaning it’s 135 tall, 15 feet shorter than the showa height 150 ft

SarcasticGoji,
Honestly, I love that. I always preferred the smaller Godzillas in tokusatsu because it allowed the filmmakers to create more detailed, elaborate miniatures--Which, granted, doesn't really effect animation or CG. Story wise it was always easier for the characters to interact with the 50-80 meter monsters. I've always felt 100 meters+ was a bit too big since the Heisei era. I'm glad they knocked Godzilla's height back down to the 50-60 meter range in most of the Millennium movies.
I thought the size in the heisei era era was appropriate. Japan was more confident than in the showa era and was becoming a key player in the world. So the 50-60 meter would be dwarfed by skyscrapers. I feel Godzilla should tower over them.

SarcasticGoji,
I think there are more creative ways of showing power than size though. (Ala, the Millennium series.) I understand the reasoning during the Heisei era, but the effects really suffered as a result. The smaller the scale of the miniatures, the less detailed they were and the less interesting the shots got. These are movies that could have really benefited from lower angles to capture Godzilla's size, but Kawakita was too lazy to put effort into many ground level miniature work for that.
that’s true, I guess godzilla wasn’t really meant in meaning to be a giant monster but a walking nuke

I think Salunga will actually be important, Because of its Japanese name being based on Charunga, the enemy of vishnu.
It is the bow of Vishnu, which Godzilla could be, so Salunga is a Tool for Godzilla Ultima

I think after this latest episode we can safely reply to this thread with, pretty darn powerful.
The atomic breath rings are probably one of my favorite design choices
