As many have already speculated, since the first Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer, it would appear that the Female MUTO's head, which Godzilla eviscerated in the first film, is studied, or at the very least preserved by MONARCH in Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters. A new image from the film was recently unveiled and offers a clearer look at what we believe to be the head of the dead Female MUTO. But could this also be the head of the Super MUTO teased in the Godzilla 2 prequel comic Godzilla: Aftershock? What purpose could preserving the MUTO's head serve to Humanity?
