An fan-favorite Titan is seemingly returning for Godzilla vs. Kong.
Thanks to new interviews and BTS photos from ComicBook and Collider, we now know that one iconic kaiju from Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be returning in the upcoming fourth installment of the Monsterverse. It seems as if none other than King Ghidorah will be playing a major role in Godzilla vs. Kong.
Matt Goldberg of Collider was one of the lucky individuals allowed to visit the set of Godzilla vs. Kong during March of 2019. While visiting, he described seeing a gigantic Ghidorah skull on set.
"We walked on to the set and there was a gigantic Ghidorah skull that had been wired up and made technological. It’s one of the cooler sets I’ve been on as it looks like they had taken the organic matter of Ghidorah and mechanized it into some new kind of mechanized creature."
By the sounds of it, it seems quite plausible that APEX Cybernetics is using the skull as some sort of power source for Mechagodzilla in the new film. Or, perhaps the evil organization is attempting to create something even more sinister with it?
You can view images of the massive 60-foot-long Ghidorah skull for yourself below.
What do you think the King Ghidorah skull will be used for? Let us know down in the comments, and also be sure to check out the brand new poster for Godzilla vs. Kong that was also just released.
