Rumor has it they will not switch to the Chinese location until around October. They're currently still in Atlanta. So they likely won't finish principle photography until later this year. This does not include reshoots.

The amount/length of filming is not indicative of a movie's run time, merely a result of scheduling for actors/locations and/or complex shots.

There is a whole new cast with there stories. I hope the Legendary learned their lesson last time and focus on what is selling tickets. K:SI did a fantastic job with both the monster fights and main character drama. I hope this will be the new trend.

Imagine how long it would take for 4 monsters! By the way, I'm new here and I'm absolutely OBSESSED with everything Godzilla!
