Using myths and legends to explain the introduction of new kaiju.

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-02-2018 1:34 PMLegendary seems to be using already existing myths and legends as the primary method of introducing kaiju into their monsterverse. Such as how Monarch traced the fairytales of a shining, winged deity to Mothra. And how they discovered Ghidorah using the myths of the rainbow serpent and hydra.
I doubt this will occur, but I would love to see more toho kaiju, and other kaiju introduced this way into the monsterverse. For example, the kraken or the umibozu could be traced back to Gezora. The Aspidochelone (a giant turtle with an island on its back), could be used to explain Gamera. The Azlwugumkimukhti (giant walrus/dog looking monster) could be used to explain Maguma. Finally, the loch ness monster would be an awesome way to introduce Manda.
Those are some quick examples I came up with, but I would be curious to see what creative examples others could come up with. Thank you for reading!

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-06-2018 2:14 PMThat is just how I would interpret Manda. The kaiju could be changed slightly to fit a separate story, or the story to fit the kaiju. Just depends how you want to portray Mothra, Manda, etc.
