Would you redo the Team Godzilla story in Godzilla Vs. Kong, or would you get rid of it?

As you already know, Godzilla Vs. Kong had two stories.  Team Kong's story, and Team Godzilla's story.  And AS WE SHOULD KNOW the Team Goji story sucked.  It was simply the film's awful attempt at comedy, and wasted not only three talented stars AND one of the most engaging MonsterVerse human characters, but it was a waste of time.  Anyways, I can only think of two solutions to make this better....get rid of the comedy or get rid of the entire thing.  Also known as:

Option 1 - Make the Godzilla story just Madison.  Millie Bobby Brown's character had been set up for a more prominent role following KOTM, but it was wasted.  Here is a possible idea right here: What story would I make if I wrote the story for Godzilla Vs. Kong? - Godzilla Forum (godzilla-movies.com).  It's far better, trust me.

Option 2 - Cut the whole thing and make the film just Team Kong.  Would anyone actually notice? I mean, they could just show APEX's schemes with nobody else if they could right?

I would go option 1. It's titled Godzilla vs Kong for a reason, not just Kong. So a team Godzilla would be (kind of) important to the film.

Then again, I didn't really mind the comedy. I just wanted to see lizard and monke fight.

Gut the whole thing! Team Godzilla was a total bunk! I commented in your earlier topic on how horrible Josh and Bernie's characters were. Subpar acting and horrible script selections.  If Madison had better actors and a better storyline, eliminating the comedy, then maybe it would have worked, but only if you could give Kyle Chandlers character “Mark Russell” more screen

I would basically completely change the godzilla story. I would probably get rid of all those characters or highly limit their roles and focus more on Mark Russell and leading monarch and have that the backbone of the story be dealing with the repercussions of Godzilla's attack.

My problem it wasnt really “team godzilla” and more of Team Anti Mechagodzilla.

Team kong wasn’t much better.
