I think it was because it was supposed to be primarily a [i]King Kong[/i] film, so Godzilla was secondary, and thus wasn't supposed to come out on top. I agree with you that is seemed a bit ridiculous. Godzilla should have won, without a doubt.

for a this hipotetical cinematic crossover you are suggesting, there is a dimensional parity problem, King= 18 ft / Godzilla= about 200 ft, and the Emmerich's Godzilla must be measured on the 300, if I remember correctly. King Kong should grow and mutate to reach out to the waist.

In the movie you'l notice kong gets strength from electricity. In movie reality kong wouldnt stand a chance against godzilla kong is 25 ft tall and godzilla is 400 ft tall and can breathe nuclear fire.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPJul-26-2015 5:21 AMthe picture i was telling you guys about where godzilla is bending over the cliff and shooting his ray at kong is on the left side today it was on the far right yesterday but if you google kingkong vs godzilla and then click images it's like the 54th to 58 to the far left its a small tall pic of the original ending of the movie but like i said they thought the american babies would complain that godzilla won too bad!!!!
