Universal and Legendary Pictures moster movie for 2017, Kong: Skull Island has been shrouded in a mysterious fog since its announcement at last years SDCC. We know that the movie will be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, based on a screenplay by Max Borenstein and John Gatins, and star the antagonist of the comic book movie of 2012; The Avengers, British actor Tom Hiddleston, and that production is due to begin early next year. But beyond that Skull Island seems to be guarding its secrets well. It is still unclear as to whether or not this is a reboot or a sequel or a prequel?
According to Deadline, Brie Larson, star of The Gambler (pictured above) has reportedly sisgned on for the female lead in the movie, with Universal and Legendary hoping to land Russell Crowe (also pictured above) in one of the roles recently vacated by Michael Keaton and J.K. Simmons.
