More and more on Godzilla Resurgence keeps rolling in. Information was added on Toho's official website that revealed one of Japan's most praised composers, Shiro Sagisu, will score the themes for the King of the Monsters.
The collaboration with Director Hideaki Anno doesn't come as a shock. Sagisu scored Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion and Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. Recently he's worked on Anno's Rebuild of Evangelion films. He also composed the music for Co-Director/SFX Director Shinji Higuchi's Attack on Titan Part I and II.
Notable works outside of Anno and Higuchi include the scores for Ranama ½ (1989-1992), Macross II (1992), Casshern (2004), Bleach (2004-2012) and more.
