Godzilla: King of the Monsters 1964 style trailer re-cut!

A brilliantly executed re-cut of the Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie trailer re-creates the epic spectacle in the same fashion as one of the classic Toho Godzilla films from 1964! Grainy video, Japanese sub-titles and dialogue makes it feel like we're actually back in the 60s, getting hyped for a new Godzilla film from Toho themselves. Director Michael Dougherty himself shared a link to the video, which you can watch below. Give it a watch and let us know what you think of it in the comments!

60's/generic Godzilla roar just doesn't mesh well with Monsterverse Godzilla.

Mothra LarvaeMember20 XPJul-30-2018 2:36 AM

The roar doesn't feel right to me.

TitanosaurusMember968 XPAug-06-2018 10:26 AM

The roar sounds too goofy for Legendary Godzilla. Other than that, the trailer looks good.

BaragonMember339 XPAug-07-2018 5:05 AM

This was kind of cool.
