In the same weekend Toho is bringing Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire to Japanese theaters, the monochrome version of Godzilla Minus One will return to theaters as well!
Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color will back to capitalize on Golden Week. Golden Week is a long week of Japanese Holidays from Monday, April 29th-Sunday, May 5th. The festivities kick off early this Friday with the release of Godzilla x Kong and Minus Color.
As of last weekend Godzilla Minus One has become the 95th highest-grossing film in Japan and is the 8th most attended Godzilla film in history with 4.93 Million--topping the attendance of every Monsterverse film, Millennium Series film and Heisei Series film.
