Will the Monsterverse's Godzilla retain his new pink look going forward? Apparently not! According to Jared Krichevsky, the man who designed Godzilla and the other Monsters for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Godzilla's evolution was always meant to be temporary:
Yeah it was always supposed to be temporary transition. In the movie he absorbs the DNA of Tiamat.
Godzilla's evolutions and power-ups have always been temporary but they often leave the King of Monsters somewhat permanently altered - whether it be a new size, abilities or dorsal plate articulation. While the pink hue might subside by the time we see Godzilla again in another Monsterverse movie, he will undoubtedly retain some of the features, abilities and design cues he earned from his absorption of Tiamat's DNA.
