Japanese actor Shun Oguri will be Adam Wingard's massive cast for Godzilla vs. Kong. Although nothing is known about his character just yet, the actor is no stranger to directors of the franchise. He stared in Shusuke Kaneko's Azumi 2 (2005) and Ryuhei Kitamura's Lupin 3rd (2014) Kaneko directed Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and Kitamura was responsible for Godzilla: Final Wars.
Godzilla vs. Kong is set to begin production this month.
Godzilla vs. Kong stars Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things, Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Demian Bichir (The Nun, Alien: Covenant), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3, The Town), Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones, Iron Fist), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Van Marten (Avengers: Infinity War), Shun Oguri (Azumi 2, Lupin 3rd), Alexander Skarsgard (The Legend of Tarzan) and Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). The film is directed by Adam Wingard based on a writers room story led by Terry Rossio. Alex Garcia is producing.
Godzilla vs. Kong hits theaters May 22nd, 2020.
