Dude...they never said Godzilla was the last of his kind.  He should die and then establish a new MonsterVerse Godzilla in a 2025 movie.

And Kong is the last of his kind.

So, Kong shouldn't die for that reason and because he hasn't gotten as much development as Gojira.
