The upcoming Monsterverse MONARCH TV series for Apple TV has officially begun filming this week! Production crews are on-site in Vancouver, British Columbia ready to get the cameras rolling! No official announcement has been made yet however updates from Production Weekly and the Director's Guild of Canada confirm production on "Hourglass - Season 1" is scheduled for this week. Production is expected to run into mid December of this year.
Matt Shakman is directing the Monarch / Hourglass Monsterverse TV series for Legendary Entertainment and Apple TV with the plot taking place between the events of Godzilla (2014) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Casting and additional plot details have yet to be revealed.
