Last year at the Godzilla Festival 2022, Gemstone delivered the short film Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex in honor of Gigan's 50th Anniversary. The production studio is back at it again, but this time they're honoring Megalon's 50th Birthday!
Godzilla vs. Megalon (2023) is an officially backed sequel to Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex, once again directed by Takuya Uenishi. This time the film will feature a live action character as Megalon takes to the skies. Take a look at the trailer below:
Designed for Megalon's 50th anniversary, Godzilla vs. Megalon will debut at Godzilla Festival 2023, November 3rd! The short will stream online during the event at 12:20 Japan time, 11:20PM EST! Get ready for more details!
