Judging by the reaction and recollection of attendees to last year's Comic-Con, we know [i]Godzilla[/i] kills off some mutant Centipedes. However, these could very well turn out to be "extras". The Centipedes could be "minions" to a much larger, far more powerful insect-oid monster which faces off against [i]Godzilla[/i].
[b]Godzilla 2014[/b] is apparently going to feature 3 Monsters in total. So my question for you all today is - should [b]Godzilla 2014[/b] introduce new Monsters to the franchise? Or reintroduce old Monsters, like Megalon, but with a more modern look?

Let me know your thoughts on this topic. Personally, I would like to see some new Monsters introduced, but part of me would like to see reference to some of the classics as well.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-23-2013 9:19 PMI believe 1 new and 1 old monster would make the most sense. They've already confirmed he will be fighting 2 monsters. They should NOT however, introduce King Ghidorah or Destoroyah so soon. If this is going to be a successful new series installation they need to save them for later! We will see what happens!

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-24-2013 2:52 AMI have personally grown up watching all the classics, and now I am still eager to see the actual, original figures remastered with the available technology of today. Introducing the new characters (unless that is some sort of new opponent from a yet-untold story) would serve as an interesting, yet quite annoying feature. I prefer to have all the HD BlueRay Allday experience with the Original cast.

Personally, the ones that need beefing are Megalon, Hedorah(In Fw, he was pathetic), Manda, Tintanosaurus, or even VARAN, but not a Mech. No Mechagodzilla 4, Moguera 3, or anything like that. And no newbies. Like Destroyah, Spacegodzilla, or Biollante. Orga MIGHT, and I mean MIGHT work.

I really like these monsters but some one diffent would be nice. like bring back Kong or Caesar. The other 2 are in ever other one of his movies it seems like

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-28-2013 5:11 PMI think Angilas should be there first and formost...any other monsters are debatable...i tend to lean more to the more dinosaurian monsters like Varan, Baragon, or Titanosaurus...Ghidrah would be the ultimate but not right away.

HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME ! moment as the camera pans over the open sea where we see a dorsal fin sinking beneath the waves as a group of people on the shore line watch through the smoke and fire of a burning dead carcass that used to be a kaiju... and then the camera fades out.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-01-2013 6:46 PMI believe since it is a new godzilla series that they should add new monsters. However they should still involve the old ones in respect of the old sereise. Like king ghidora, Destroya, Space godzilla, and this may sound weird but I also think Mothera would also be a good choice to add because mothera has been an important character in the godzilla series. That is all.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-09-2013 7:56 PMI hope that new or rarely seen monsters are used for the first film, the attention should be centered around him. At some point in possible sequels though, it would be awesome to see monsters on Godzilla's side like Anguirus or Rodan fighting a big mainstay villian like King Ghidorah with him.
