MemberMothra LarvaeJan-19-2014 9:42 AMFrom the information that has come to light in recent magazines it has been said that Godzilla's fighting style resembles that of a Komodo Dragon or a bear. This intrigued me enough to youtube some videos of these animals fighting - links below.
Komodos - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDLqEYvDeyM
Bears - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jACnmOMMI-w
Both creatures rear up on their hind legs, grappling and biting one another...but this got me thinking. For Godzilla to fight in this fashion he would need to be battling something of equal size or bigger which the MUTO's are not. I haven't seen a MUTO yet but people are saying that they were dwarfed by Godzilla in the airport scene shown at Comicon. With this in mind, is there another monster we don't know about yet? Based on his described fighting style I would say there is. Thoughts?

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-19-2014 2:41 PMGreat topic, but you should actually find a vid of a bear and Komodo fighting something else so we can know what more to expect, cuz were not gonna see two Godzillas fighting of course, or are we O_O

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-19-2014 5:53 PMWell King_of_Zombies. Animals do do this to mark territory. Godzilla is an animal and would to this as well. I saw T-rexes do this in a fight. Both big males posturing this is their territory by marking it with their scent. Basically telling anyone else "This is mine. You can't have it."

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-23-2014 7:48 PMi dare say that godzilla in this movie does not need to fight something of equal size, i think the first movie is to establish what type of nightmare man has to deal with and the mistake of carelessly using nuclear energy and the mistake of genetic minipulation of creatures to the point of not being able to control or stop them. the next movie, lets see him fight like a bear or rabbit or what ever.
