the mutos weaknesses are godzilla's atomic breath.

how do i think or know this? well lets go back to the leaked script

apparently they both were trapped in a block of ice that had both the skeletial remains of godzilla and muto species in it

ok well godzilla is the last surviving member of his species in this movie however in 1954 when they reawakened him they were trying to kill him with the nuclear tests in the pacific which was unsuccesful

dr.serizawa realizing that godzilla cant be killed that way he comes up with his own sollution create the enemy that was trapped with him in the ice the muto creature that preyed on the godzilla species.

ok that doesnt work either because when the mutos grow from the steriods and other substances used to bring them back to life they get to big and start reckoning the city of san franciso.

godzilla hears the cries of the mutos while asleep in the ocean and realizes they have came back to finish him off and want to eat on his remains, he has no other choice but to return and to fight them back

it never said that the mutos were created by radioactivity there for that is going to be there weaknesses.

what about you guys what do you think?

"the mutos weaknesses are godzilla's atomic breath."

I mean it just kind of states the obvious. The Muto's weakness is Godzilla's most powerful weapon?  Well that just happens to be the weakness of buildings, people, tanks, helicopters...etc... I mean, after 60 years and 28 movies I think it's pretty obvious that monsters, humans and objects get pretty fried by Godzilla's atomic breath.

How can it be their weakness when they actually feed off of it. Remember after the special scene viewing a couple weeks ago, one of the attendees wrote that the Mutos had taken an atomic submarine into the middle of the island (Oahu?) to take (feed off) it's energy?

Godzilla's atomic breath even scrambles micro black holes fired at him from orbit! Nothing stands up to that! What a hunk! *sighs dreamily*

"Godzilla's atomic breath even scrambles micro black holes fired at him from orbit!"

You know... I never thought about it, but that fact right there might make the Godzilla from GxM one of the most powerful incarnations.

@GMAN2887

indeed, ive always thought of him as being one of the toughest even if he isnt the biggest, the way i see it, godzillas size doesnt always matter. certainly doesnt hurt him to be so big though!

Personally, I don't see any credibility in the "leaked scripts." Even though one of the later drafts had a few key incidents that appeared in the trailer, I still don't believe it's a legitimate leak so much as a lucky and well deduced guesses.

And as far as the Muto creature's weaknesses go, that same script suggests that they feed on Godzilla's radiation, so his atomic breath can't be a weakness of theirs. If anything, it's more food for them by that leaked scripts logic.

So I disagree with the statement.

But to offer a suggestion based on something more concrete, let's look at its anatomy and see what is more likely.

It's a thin creature, meaning that Godzilla's size and weight will put it at a disadvantage in any close range combat they engage in. It has wings, which means that if they're damaged then it can't fly and will be forced to the ground. I can't see any eyes on the toys, but maybe that's because of the crest like shape of its head. If it is the case and its eyes are beneath the crest, then that means that anything above it is in a blind spot. Also, given its facial construction, anything in front of it will also be in something of a blind spot since it will need to turn its head to see much like a horse has to let its head sway side to side to get the full picture of what's in front of it. Its hind legs are shaped much like those of a hooved animal, which means that it can run on them quite well but likely only in limited sprints.

That's about it for now. If I come up with anything else I'll be sure to share.
