MemberMothra LarvaeJun-14-2014 10:45 PMCATZILLA beat me to the punch. Insects have exoskeletons, not skeletons. Those bones, whatever they belonged to, were from a long and (compared to Godzilla) relatively small creature seemingly lacking any arms or legs like that of a snake or some kind of other legless creature.
Some seem to think it's a Godzilla skeleton, but the anatomy does not match and even Serizawa said it wasn't Godzilla's skeleton or of his species.
Oh well.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-16-2014 12:59 AMThe ones I can think off, should they really be paying homage to the classic G, are kajus that could've left that type of skeleton (reptilian like): Gorosaurus and Varan

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-16-2014 7:52 PMI was thinking that the large multi-limbed monster seen in the first preview was what the skeleton was from. Though I hope we stilll see that creature in the sequels!
