I know that Gabara is one the worst looking Godzilla monsters to date and for fact he is a forgotten monster. sometimes when thing of the movie Godzillas revenge I dont even think of the monster Gabara.
My opinion their are some interesting things about him do like the scales on his body and his abilities, that he uses on Godzillas son.
If they ever bring him back they should kinda update or change the shape of his appearance.

I hate literally everything about him exept his eletrical powers.

Therizinosaurus for JW2!

Gabera is easily the WORST character in the whole franchise. he makes krystlak look like gigan in comparison. His design is stupid, he is an extreamly generic villan, and his power is nothing special

Actually, gabera is ok for me. However, he to me was a modified version of the 62' kong from kong vs godzilla. What i mean is, he had the same power as kong did with the electrical touch through his fingers.

KAIJUJIRA - Gabara was such a bully! I don't much like him as he stands now. However, were he to receive an upgrade to make him a more interesting kaiju, I'd be one of the first to jump for joy! I happen to think he has a lot of potential! :)

I don't have him necessarily, but I'd a hard pressed to think of a monster that I like less. Maybe Minilla, but it's very close.
Some of his aspects are mediocre at best.

I don't hate him, but I will say that if I had to rate all the Godzilla monsters in order, Gabara would be very low on the list.
Again, not because I dislike the guy, but more-so that I prefer other kaiju over him.

i forgot he existed. athough it wouldve been kinda cool to hvae his show up on Destroy all monsters. just to add to the chaos. but you know what, i bet godzilla doesn't even remember him

WHOA, HUGE SLAMS ON GABARA OUT OF NOWHERE!!!! :O
I will NEVER understand how someone can "hate" a fictional character. What a waste of time and of one's life. Personally, ther is NOT ONE thing I hate about a SINGLE Godzilla movie or character; there is something to enjoy about every one of them. I have always loved Gabara's design, malicious character, and crazy roar. He's one of my personal favorites.
I'll add Gabara to my "I Don't Care What They Think, I Love Them" list to keep Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla and Gamera the Brave company. -_-

I love the guy, he's a really cool monster (he's even on my Top 10 Godzilla monsters list~)
Really, he represents bullying and how scary it can be. However, he also represents how that fear can be beaten when you stand up to it. Plus his electric shock ability is really cool. And his roar is an EVIL LAUGH. How creepy is that?
I love ya Gabara, no matter what everyone else says.

DAIKKAIJU_DANIELLE - That redesign of Gabara is fantastic - and, yes, Gabara's "roar" is really bloody creepy! :)

@Daikaiju_danielle,
Now that is what should have been in the movie to begin with. Nice piece of artwork!

@DANZILLA93- I HATE GABARA AND OTHER FICTIONAL CHARACTERS! You got a problem with that?

I think Gabara works perfectly well for the story in Godzilla's Revenge. He's an imaginative monster-- A creature manifested by a child's real life bully. He's perfectly adequette for the very non-traditional Godzilla movie he's in.
Would he work in a traditional Godzilla movie? I'm not sure. His character and actions would probably be heavily altered if he were to be in a more straight forward Godzilla story.

@Linkzilla,
Be nice! No need to blow off fuses here, ok?

Gabara had the potential to be a very threatening bastard, and he was a bastard in the movie he appeared, but not that much threatening. He's supposed to be an Oni, right? Yeah, he looks more like a deformed troll to me.
Also, his roars are both hilarious and horrifying.
