Should Godzilla vs. King Kong (2020) end in a draw?

The first King Kong vs. Godzilla ended with Godzilla and Kong going their separate ways. Neither Monster came out on top. However, should King Kong lose to Godzilla in the 2020 reboot? Or do you think, since both Monsters are coming from competing studios, that they will choose to end the fight in a draw again?

First, Where do I find that picture? That is an awesome picture.

Second, Didn't Kong beat Godzilla? He did and then Kong went home and Godzilla re-emerged to fight Mothra in the next movie. I honestly am undecided on who should win or if it should be a draw. I will say this though, it's going to be one hell of a fight.

I'm pretty sure Godzilla and Kong both fell into the water and Kong emerged to swim home and Godzilla swam away as well.

I personally think Godzilla should win in the fact that he is taller than King Kong but down deep as a hardcore King Kong fanatic I kinda hope King Kong wins!

If Godzilla and King Kong ended up a draw, then I think there should be a third kaiju as the primary antagonist. They work together to defeat the antagonist and then went sperate ways.

Honestly when it comes to these type of movies.. Most likely it will start out as them battling each other but most likely I have a feeling it will end up being Godzilla and King Kong teaming up against a nightmare team of monsters to save the world.

Seriously, where do I find that picture? I would like to use it as a background for my desktop.

Well, one thing is for sure. The fight won't be as humorous as it was in 62'. I think the fight will be more animalistic like that of Godzilla and Anguirus in 55'.  check out my gallery of Godzilla artwork! Follow me on [email protected]

I want there to be a winner. Whenever two big names go at it and it ends in a draw or ambiguous I feel like it's somewhat of a cop out. Frankenstein vs The Wolfman, Freddy vs Jason, AVP, AVPR all the same. One thing you have to respect the original King Kong vs Godzilla is they declared a winner, Kong came up, Godzilla didnt. I would like the new one to have a winner. I love both monsters so doesn't matter which one it is, but please just a clear victor would be nice.

I recall something being mentioned or rumored of the two teaming up against a "greater threat" which might be interesting. The thing about all of these "versus" movies is that the winner isn't so much on the producers' mind. The event is. And as such I don't see there being a clear cut victor in this one.

Honestly, I always believe that neither kaijus win or lose in the '62 film. Kong is terrestrial and for sure he needs to breathe air, while Goji as we know is semi-aquatic and can spend a long time underwater. I saw it as a draw that both are exhausted with Kong emerging for air and Goji remains underwater, going their own ways...

As for the reboot, I prefer it having Goji encountering Kong and let them fight one another, until there's another kaiju hellbent on destruction. That's when Goji and Kong teams up and fight the threat...

that's pretty much my expectation for the film

That picture of Godzilla fighting Kong at the top is just so epic. Where did you find that picture?

He already lost in the 1962 film. King Kong doesn't have Godzilla's awesome powers to win. So this time King Kong should lose and Godzilla gets a chance. I don't think many people would like the movie either if King Kong won. I hope Godzilla wins!
