Since it's such a hot topic right now: Godzilla's track record at the Japanese Academy Awards.

(Note: The Japanese Academy Prize series did not start until 1978, thus no Showa Godzilla films are listed. Those films were honored by a different award series no longer in vogue.)

Thank you for this! I've actually been curious about how Godzilla faired in the Japanese Academy, but never remembered to look it up. Also, wow, I didn't realize how much Shin G dominated.
