Are they part of the monsterverse? Maybe the Precursors (Main Villians in their world) could be the ones sending the alien Kaiju like King Ghidorah from another timeline or dimension to rectify what happened in Pacific Rims dimension by the preventing of the creation of the Jaegers in the near future of Godzilla’s timeline/Dimension!

King Ghidorah is very different from the design style used by the Precursors for their Kaijus.

I'd rather the Pacific Rim universe and Monsterverse stay separate. Besides, the dates in both universes don't add up.

I hope a third movie is greenlit one of these days, but the anime was quite impressive.
