Will Roswell play a role in a future MonsterVerse movie?

First, before Team Godzilla climbs inside an APEX anti-gravity pod housing skullcrawler eggs, we briefly hear somebody talking about sending cargo over to Roswell, New Mexico over an intercom. This implies that APEX has a presence at the city, and are doing some shady things with skullcrawlers.
Then at the end of film when Bernie meets up Mark, he asks him to join his conspiracy podcast to help investigate a Monarch facility at Roswell. What’s interesting about this exchange is that it is quickly interrupted by Godzilla roaring at Kong.
It’s as if both instances are turn-away-and-you’ll-miss-it teases for something in the future, which is something that I don’t think we should rule out at the moment.
What’s significant about Roswell? Well, according to conspiracy theories, it is the site of the famous Roswell Incident of 1947, where mysterious debris was uncovered local residents. It is believed that the debris belonged to a UFO.
Since the MonsterVerse loves to draw from conspiracy theories, could the city be home to some sort of alien technology that Monarch and APEX are fixated upon? If so, could APEX be using it to experiment and/or weaponize skullcrawlers?
I don’t think we should write it off as a onetime easter egg. I think Roswell holds a lot of significance for the future of the MonsterVerse, especially when it comes to the space aspect of the franchise.
