Not to be confused with Shimida - which was one of the unused Hollow Earth Titans from Godzilla vs. Kong:
Shimida submerges itself in goo and employs mosses and lichens as natural camouflage. The idea was to show the cohesiveness of the Hollow Earth biome. The book also mentions that all the Hollow Earth creatures were inspired by real-life animals, except this one - Shimida was created from scratch!
